Inciting Incident Mission Impossible: Fallout

Image
An Inciting Incident that caught my eye was the one that was impressively set up in Mission: Impossible Fallout. This film was full of nail biting action-packed moments, but the first one gave us a glimpse of the awesomeness and jaw dropping moments to come later in this masterpiece of a film. Tom Cruise is tasked with a difficult decision to save his friend or save three nukes. And of course, Tom chose his friend.

Intermittent Delight by Akosua Adoma

This experimental film has a very interesting motif of patterns. It is influenced heavily by African culture with the drums keeping the tempo of the film in the background. It shows an interesting contrast of African Culture from Caucasian Culture. From two African women weaving clothes using textile sewing machines to the white American indulging in her clothing hobby. It augments a lot of patterns and utilizes the space of the screen by filling in empty space to taking away images within transition. Overall I was very impressed with the creativity of the film and the sounds it incorporates.
